Police are appealing for information after 14 cattle were stolen from a farm in Moneymore.
The animals, aged between one year and four years, were taken from a rural farm yard in the Tullyboy Road area.
It is understood the theft took place sometime between 3pm on Saturday, November 21 and 12 noon on Wednesday, November 25.
Constable Stuart Hutchinson said: "If you can help with enquiries please call the 101 number, quoting reference number 436261115. Alternatively information about crime can be passed via the independent Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.”
Meanwhile, police are investigating a report of a red Ford Transit van being stolen in Maghera.
Constable Daniel Walker said: “The van is understood to have been taken from the parking area in front of the Elim Church in the Hall Street area of Maghera sometime between 8am on Monday, November 23 and 8am the following day (Tuesday, November 24). If you can help with enquiries please call the 101 number, quoting reference number 404241115. Alternatively information about crime can be passed via the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
