Derry woman's 'Winning Streak' earns her 33,000 euro

Derry woman Ann Wilson got an early Christmas present when she appeared the National Lottery’s “Winning Streak” game show on RTE Television tonight.

Cheered on by her husband, Eddie, family and friends in the audience, the mother of four (pictured), from Lindenwood Park in Foyle Springs, scooped prizes totalling 33,000 euro.

She began by winning 25,000 euro and a holiday to Croatia worth 3,000 euro in the first game of the night, “Trap Door.”

Ann, who works in Foyle College, then won an additional 5,000 euro in the “Low-High Share” game.

Paul Finnerty, from Naas in Kildare, won through to “Spin the Wheel,” winning 20,000 euro, bringing his total to 50,000 euro.

Prizes totalling 153,000 euro were won on tonight’s programme.

You can see tonight’s programme again when it is repeated on RTE One at 1.40pm tomorrow.
