The thrills of high speed cycling comes to Derry city centre tonight when Foyle Cycling, hosts its fourth annual Maiden City CRIT.
Among the top cyclists competing will be Christopher McGlinchey, who rode in the Kerry Group Rás Mumhan earlier this year.
Roger Aiken, Adam Armstrong and Jason Henry will also be in the strong field that should guarantee an exciting night's racing.
With selective road closures coming into action from 6.00pm onwards, hundreds of spectators are expected to turn out to cheer on the riders.
Races start at the bus depot in Foyle Street and go up Shipquay Street, alongFerryquay Street, Water Street, Market Street.and back to the finish line in Foyle Street (the map above shows the course).
The first race is the Sprocket Rockett at 7.00pm with the .adult races commence at 8.00pm.. The event will finish around 9.00pm.
Ronan Gallagher, Foyle Cycling PRO said: 'With the support of Tourism NI and the local council, we're confident that we will have a large field and many people watching.
“Everyone in the club is excited about tonight's event.”
