A man was rescued from a house fire in the Rosemount area Derry last night.
A frying pan was left unattended on a cooker and the house was heavily smoke-logged on the arrival of fire crews
The man was led to safety by firefighters and was given medical attention at the scene by paramedics.
The incident occurred at around 10.20pm.
