Neil Burns proved too hot for Bective Rangers as City of Derry made it two wins out of two in the All Ireland League Division 2B at Judges Road this afternoon.
Leading 19-17 at half time thanks to a David Graham try and four penalties and a conversion from Burns, Derry took control of the game eight minutes after the restart through two converted tries from Burns and Neil Brown.
Derry secured a bonus point when an Andrew Semple (pictured try - converted by Burns - made it 40-17 in favour of the home side with six minutes left.
Next up for Derry is an away trip to bottom club Sunday’s Wells next Saturday.
