Work has begun to raise a boat which sunk at Derry quayside last month.
The Loughs Agency research vessel, the MMV Ostrea, was discovered partially submerged at the Foyle Marina at around 8.00am on 15 December.
A salvage team (pictured) began work on raising the vessel this morning.
However, a spokeswoman for the Loughs Agency could not put a time on when the vessel would be brought above water.
She said: “We are at the mercy of the river.
