Limavady United lead 10-man Institute 2-0 at half-time in their Craig Memorial Cup final clash being played at Moyola Park.
Striker Cathair Friel missed a golden opportunity to put United in front when he fired a penalty wide in the 25th minute.
Institute were reduced to 10 men when Aaron Harkin (pictured) was sent off in the 32nd minute.
Bryan McClelland put United ahead three minutes later when found the back of the net from a Lee Harkin corner.
Bennie McFadden doubled the advantage a minute from the break.
