A 22 year old man has been charged with a number of offences including robbery and possession of an imitation firearm.
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court tomorrow.
As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by Public Prosecution Service.
The charges relate to a robbery and assault at a flat in the Northland Road area of Derry on December 12.
