Police are investigating a series of incidents linked to anti-social behaviour in the Draperstown area (pictured above), it has emerged.
It follows reports that three cars have been burnt out in the area over the last few weeks.
It is understood another vehicle was crashed into a wall.
Constable Mark McGarry said: “All of these vehicles are believed to be scrap cars, bought for little and rallied around the local area before being destroyed.
"Apart from the anti-social aspect there is a serious danger to other road users and pedestrians as well as the danger to life and property when these cars are deliberately burnt.
"If you can help with our enquiries or have any concerns regarding anti-social behaviour please call the 101 number.”
