Detectives in Magherafelt are trying to establish the cause of a fire at a house in the town in the early hours of this morning.
It is understood the blaze broke out at a property in the Sandymount area of the town.
Detective Inspector Will Tate said: “Sometime between 2:30am and 4am on Friday 4th December, a detached property was extensively damaged.
"Fire service attended however the cause of the blaze is still to be established.
