BATES, Nora Elizabeth (Betty) (née Campbell) – 27th July 2016 (peacefully) at Altnagelvin Hospital, after a short illness, (surrounded by her loving family, formerly of 21 Bond Street), much-loved wife of the late Kenneth (Ken), devoted mother of Greer, Elaine and the late Kenneth, loving mother-in-law of Lexie and David, adored grandmother of Richard, Glen, Alison, Lynzi and Lesley and great-grandmother of Dean, Rhys, Ben, Jake, Corey, Thomas and Willow, dearest sister of Moira, Sylvia, May, Joan and Alan. Service of Thanksgiving in her late home, 8 Silverbirch Crescent, Woodburn tomorrow (Sunday) 2.00pm, followed by burial in Altnagelvin Cemetery. Family flowers only. Funeral leaving his late home today (Saturday) at 10.30am followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for his life in St. Columb's Cathedral at 11.00am. Burial afterwards in Ballyoan Cemetery.
