Derry face an uphill task in the second period of their Ulster Senior Football Championship clash with Tyrone as they trail their great rivals by 11 points on a scoreline of 3-08 to 0-06 at a rain-drenched Celtic Park.

James Kielt (pictured) put the home side in front when he put over a free from distance after four minutes.

Ronan O’Neill did brilliantly to find an empty net when set up by Mark Bradley

Sean Cavanagh put over a point to increase the lead with nine minutes gone.

Tyrone took total control of the game when O’Neill got his second goal of the game when he pounced following a great save by Mallon in the 20th minute.

Peter Harte added a third goal late in the half.

It's going to take something extra ordinary for Derry to turn this one round.
