A member of staff was injured in a fire which broke out at a Chinese takeaway in Derry this morning.
The Rainbow, at the lower end of Carlisle Road, was badly damaged in the blaze which broke out at about 1030am..
The alarm was raised by a male member of staff who was the only person on the premises at the time.
He was treated for a minor hand injury.
Fire crews from Northland Road and Crescent Link stations attended the incident.
Firefighters remain at the scene (pictured) and Carlisle Road remains sealed off.
