Six teenage boys are being questioned by police in Derry following reports of people on the roof of a school in the Trench Road area of the Waterside earlier in the day.
The boys, aged between 13 and 17, are being questioned about a number of offences, including criminal damage.
It follows a fire at Holy Child Primary School in the Creggan area on Monday night last when building materials on the roof a block of classrooms were set on fire (pictured).
Two boys, both aged 10, and an 11-year-old girl, were questioned about the incident after voluntarily presenting themselves to Strand Road police station on Wednesday.
They were subsequently released pending a report to the Youth Diversion Officer.
Meanwhile, one resident described what was happening in the area as "madness" claiming about 120 young had gathered on Strabane Old Road, breaking bottles, drinking beer and "using back lanes as toilets."
"They have been terrorising the local community and old age pensioners who live nearby."
