Pupils from a Derry primary school have team up with staff from McDonalds staff in the city for an initiative aimed at improving the environment.
Staff from McDonald’s three outlets - Strand Road, Foyleside and Crescent link - joined pupils from Glendermott Primary School in the Waterside in a community based initiative to plant trees in the surrounding area of the school.
Held in support of Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful’ s Live Here Love Here campaign, the McDonald’s team planted 25 locally sourced and grown hedges.
