Derry City are trailing Finn Harps one-nil at half-time in their opening Airtricity Premier Division game being played before a capacity crowd at Finn Park.
Derry had the better of the first half but fell behind in stoppage time when Scully beat keeper Gerard Doherty.
Harps, back in the top flight after an eight year absence, have only won one of their previous 28 league meetings against City – that was back in 1998 when Donal O’Brien (pictured), now Kenny Shiels’ assistant at Brandywell, got the deciding goal.
