A man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash on the main Derry to Belfast Road almost three years ago in which a 69-year-old man from the city was killed.
David Richie, from the Tullyally area of the city, died in a head-on collision on the Glenshane Road near Burntollet Bridge around 8.45pm on Wednesday, 17 April 2013.
A man and a woman were also injured in the collision between a black Vauxhall Astra (pictured) and a silver Vauxhall Astra.
A 26-year-old man, from the Ardmore area of Derry, has been charged with a number of offences in connection with the crash, including causing the death of Mr Richie by dangerous driving.
He has also been charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a man by dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court tomorrow.
