A ‘Ladies Lunch’ will be held in Derry’s City Hotel tomorrow to raise money for the fight against cancer.
It has been organised by the Cancer Research UK Legenderry Committee who have organised the ‘Slide On’ events on the city’s Shipquay Street over the last two years.
The lunch is an opportunity for local ladies to have a two course Sunday lunch served to them with no dreaded dishes at the end.
Entertainment will provided by St Mary’s College and Encore choirs, followed by ceili dancing.
Deborah McGlinchey, Derry’s Woman of the Year in 2015, and a member of the Legenderry committee, will be the MC for the afternoon.
The event will start at 2.00pm and tickets cost £18.95.
Anyone who would like a ticket for Sunday’s event is asked to contact the City Hotel.
