Derry singer-songwriter Decky McLaughlin today unveiled his latest song at a Sinn Fein event in the Millennium Forum.
The local man took to the stage just before Martin McGuinness confirmed that he would be standing in this year's Assembly elections in the Foyle constituency.
McLaughlin performed his new song 'Rise Up' in front of the large audience.
He joked that he started writing the song in 1984 and finished it about 11.30 last night.
His performance received a massive round of applause from the audience.
